Mockups with AI
What is a Mockup Generator?
A mockup generator lets you place your design, such as a logo, pattern, or interface, into a realistic scene to visualize how it would appear on a real object. This “scene” acts as a container (like a T-shirt, screen, or product label), while your design becomes the content. The Freepik Mockup Generator combines classic 3D surface mapping with AI-powered generation options, so you can work from templates, upload your own image, or describe a scene with text.
How does the Mockup Generator work?
The Freepik Mockup Generator offers three ways to create your mockup, depending on your workflow:
You can create mockups by:
- Choosing a template from the Freepik mockup library.
- Uploading your photo or design.
- Describing a scene with a prompt.

All generated content follows Freepik's AI Terms and Conditions, so make sure you're not using content that violates third-party IP rights—such as brand logos, trademarks, or likenesses. If your mockup is clear of such elements, you're welcome to use it for personal or professional purposes.
Now, the next step is learning how to replace elements with the Retouch tool.
